Writer Guidelines

Please send all article submissions or inquiries to editor@somcmedia.com
Standard format for submission should be word documents.  Please do not submit PDF read-only documents.
All submissions, which have been previously published, must be noted including the Publisher's name including which Periodical and Issue it was published in. Works that are selected for publication Somc Media retains the right to
reprint at our discretion.   Please note that works that are submitted incomplete or that require heavy editing will be returned.

Submission of images and photographs

Do not send us copyrighted images or other's works.
All images/photographs should be submitted in high-resolution (raw format is preferred). 
We will pay for quality images/photographs.
Do not submit images/photographs, which are sexually exploitive or pornographic.
Somc Media recognizes that in some cases when dealing with historic artwork nudity cannot be avoided. 
We deal with such images on a case by case basis.

Employment and Volunteer Opportunities

Resumes are always welcome.
Currently we are looking for graphic designers who are looking to gain work experience.
Community Service hours may be obtained through our correspondence programs.

High school students are always encouraged to submit materials for publication referrals.
We accept written works, sketches, photographs, column suggestions, digital replicas of one's painting
or sculptures etc... Submitted works, which are used on a permanent or regular basis, monetary compensation
will be negotiated.
